Depends on your political viewpoint of course, but for me a country that places the wants of corporations high above the needs of the people is a bit screwed up. Not to mention the whole NSA thing...

Yes but you must realize that the mentally ill don't go to gun stores.

I think the problem here is that KoC thinks America is the only good country and that all other countries are desert & kangaroos. KoC, yes, many Americans have lost their lives, but what about the other countries that have lost soldiers? Even the country you called 'desert & kangaroos' were an ally to America during the World Wars.

Really, he's like the perfect stereotypical American from the southern states. He says he isn't but honestly, that's like the perfect match.

Australia helped in WWII? Well we won both of them.

If it's stereotypical to be patriotic then call me a stereotype.

Patriotic is one thing, nationalistic is another.

So stating the facts that America is the greatest country in the world is Nationalism. I'm not saying your countries are bad I'm saying that America freaking rocks.

What evidence supports this? Why is your country "better"?

3rd least corrupt country in the world, better education system, less debt, free education, not at war 24/7, just to name a few.
To each his own of course, I like the stuff I mentioned though, I sure some prefer debt and war among other things.

Well do you have fighter jets at sporting events? Can you walk into a bar and start chanting Finland for everyone to join in? Can you walk into a store and buy an AR-15? Can you own a tank? Can you launch dangerous explosives into the air? Was your country the first to invent the A bomb? Or the B52? Or the MOAB? Do you see the Finnish flag everywhere you go?

lol, freedom, that's an illusion. Quite a funny one too. Also, sure you launch from your yards, but that's not legal. Yeah you guys have invented some nice things, but guess what, so has almost every other country. Also, I can name many many many awesome things not invented by you; for example, one of the most awesome things in the world, the basic idea of a computer, was invented by a Brit.

The United States is a great country but stop kidding yourself; our country has gone down the tube ever since Reagan was elected. The government sucks, the mentality of society sucks, and in terms of inventing new relevant technology the United States hasn't been doing much of that for years.

I actually agree with most of this, except that our country started going down hill at the end of Daddy Bush's Presidency. But still, almost everything else is true.
