I'm from Uzbekistan. It's all right, gradually moving towards first world status.
We have a lot of problems though. Most Uzbeks really hate guns, our government keeps using them to keep the people down and rebels use them to fight the government. Mostly innocent people get accidentally shot. There's nothing good about guns!
Most Uzbeks also hate America and Christianity. America is such an embarrassing country to the rest of the first world, we are trying hard to be more like wonderful countries like France and Lithuania. I was on holiday in America once and all the fat people disgusted me. Having seen poverty first hand, and seeing the crap these people it, it fills my heart with RAGE! But of course Islam is the main religion here, so we also hate America because it is Christian and tries to enforce its beliefs on us. I told an American I was a Muslim and he called me a terrorist! So mean, much narrow minded, wow.
But it is not a bad place overall. Come visit Uzbekistan when we have modernised enough in 30 years or so. We are quite friendly to foreigners (well, not really, but we're getting better).
