What was your first game?

I had this NES rip off thing with 50 in 1 cartridges. I think it was Ice Climber that was my first. What a fun little game that was.

Pokemon Red was my first video game. Such good times.

I think he's 17, but that's just a guess.

:o we gotta go wayback to the Atari 2600 - although strictly speaking it was my dads - our first game... was probably pacman! - Or Circus Atari - something like that!

Pac-man was great. Haven't played that game in the longest time.

I didn't get into games till the gameboy advance came out. I'm wasn't really, and still aren't, much of a gamer and didn't have enough money to buy consoles so I settled for a game boy advance and my first game was some old yugioh game.

Chris: That's cool. I was only 4 when Pokemon came to the US, so my parents did most (all) of the buying. XD

Anyone have the original gameboy lol - I loved Tetris - And I think I played a Final Fantasy game on it - Maybe FF III ?!?

Crazy to think how long some of these games have endured (Pokemon etc...)

Pokemon is the best. They do their best to keep it fresh with new characters and Pokemon.

My first portable console was a Gameboy Advance SP. First game was Operation Armed Liberty and Spyro.

I actually like Pokemon too - I had one of the games on my DS a few years back to see what all the fuss was about. I beat the Elite 4 but that was about it for me!

I don't know why but I never got into Pokemon.

Which ones did you try?

Pokemon Black.

My first game was Pok�mon Silver, I remember it quite well. I was already hooked on the anime way before that, it was kind of a big thing at school, but it took me a while to play the video games. My mom thought they were way too expensive.

Anyway after a lot of begging I finally got a GBA, but I didn't get any games with it so that remained useless for a while... Didn't take ling before I picked up Silver from a flea market for cheap however. I loved it and moved on to the rest of the series. Took me a while before I got into other games though.

That GBA was pink by the way, everything else happened to be sold out at the time. I was kind of embarrassed to use it with others around but I actually liked the colour. I still have it. ;p

2nd gen was my favourite gen. My first Pokemon game was Crystal after which I finished Gold too (didn't know they were basically the same game back then. It's just the fact that you had two regions to explore which hasn't been done since which really made it stand out for me. Unfortunately it gave me unrealistic expectations. I remember one of my first questions on Supercheats was if there was really a hidden way to unlock the other regions on Pearl
