... Seriously I think a sports day for all the world's leaders would be a good start... Have a laugh etc... A few beers maybe, a bit of bonding... Maybe they would get along a bit better...
Yeah I'd often thought that too - If there was a thread from another world - surely we'd have to come together a bit more - We are all just people, it's a shame our world leaders resort to war and killing people instead of sorting it out over a beer.
This, basically. Aliens come and either we die or win and then go back to killing each other.
Hopefully global cultures eventually reach peace. We are in the most peaceful time in human history. We won't see it, our kids won't see it, but hopefully, eventually, we can get along enough.
xeta actually makes a lot of sense most of the time
if everyone agreed with him more often we wouldnt have this problem
But in all seriousness there can't be world peace for two reasons: 1. Weapons manufacturers wouldn't be able to sell $80,000 bombs and multi-million dollar tanks if there is world peace.
2. It's not in human nature for there to be world peace. We always are fighting. There was Europe. After Europe there was Korea and Vietnam. After Nom there is the Middle East and North Korea. And after that is the grand finale(for them) Russia.
They couldn't sell 70 million dollar jets every week. They would never make money again.
If they used all the technology they have for weapons and put that into things that won't kill people and sell them that's already a source of income. .-.
