Warning this is a boring rant

I am out of range for cable and dish is just downright pricey so back when they did the digital analog switch in like 2008 my family got the RCA digital converter box's and a big antenna on the roof.

Anyway I have few channels and I usually watch Fox and the CW. The CW plays comedy and their original shows(not that noteworthy) I usually just watch their reruns.

Back when I first got the "box" the CW played Star Trek The Next Generation every night. It was the cornerstone of my tv viewing. But they stopped running Star Trek TNG and replaced it with...something bad.

The CW started playing comedy from 5 to 7. For a while it was Simpson's, Family Guy and My Name is Earl. Then they cut My Name is Earl and the new line-up for years was Family Guy, King of the Hill, Simpson's, and another Family Guy.

Eventually they put American Dad where Star Trek TNG was. But they cut that too. Luckily Fox picked it up for a later slot so I didn't lose that. American Dads slot was replaced with 30 Rock and I grew to love that show.

Then they made horrible changes.

They cut a Family Guy episode and King of the Hill and replaced it with Family Feud. They cut 30 Rock and replaced it with How I Met Your Mother.

But CW still has some redeeming qualities.

They are the only station I get that still has Saturday Morning Cartoons (DBZ FTW!)

Also ever since I got the "box" they played Seinfeld every night.

I guess the CW is alright. It's just that they play all older episodes.

I'd rather watch stations that play the current episodes (Fox - Family guy, American Dad, etc.).

The Fox station near me doesn't play the good shows until midnight.

They replaced It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia with 30 Rock.

All they play is reality and competitions. I watch CW from 10-11 and Fox from 12-2.

It's actually kinda good that they change rerun shows around in the US.

Where I live, the same show is on the same channel at the same time every day (in regard to rerun sitcoms), and more often than not not all the episodes of the show are licensed (there are many episodes of sitcoms like Friends and Big Bang Theory that I've never seen because they're never aired), so they show around half the episodes for each season of the sitcom. It's surprising how quickly they cycle and you're watching the same ones yet again. Change is good.

Volke: That stinks, to say the least. I can't imagine watching the same show over and over.

Here I've seen the same episode of Big Bang Theory about 15 times. Every night it's the sate old stuff on the main channels (7, 9 & 10). At least some smaller channels actually change their program.

(pretty much exactly the same situation Volke is in)

That has to be so frustrating. Do you watch anything on Hulu?

I would be extremely happy. There are too many dangerous people in my area who don't like my family.
