Warning this is a boring rant I am out of range for cable and dish is just downright pricey so back when they did the digital analog switch in like 2008 my family got the RCA digital converter box's and a big antenna on the roof.
Anyway I have few channels and I usually watch Fox and the CW. The CW plays comedy and their original shows(not that noteworthy) I usually just watch their reruns.
Back when I first got the "box" the CW played Star Trek The Next Generation every night. It was the cornerstone of my tv viewing. But they stopped running Star Trek TNG and replaced it with...something bad.
The CW started playing comedy from 5 to 7. For a while it was Simpson's, Family Guy and My Name is Earl. Then they cut My Name is Earl and the new line-up for years was Family Guy, King of the Hill, Simpson's, and another Family Guy.
Eventually they put American Dad where Star Trek TNG was. But they cut that too. Luckily Fox picked it up for a later slot so I didn't lose that. American Dads slot was replaced with 30 Rock and I grew to love that show.
Then they made horrible changes.
They cut a Family Guy episode and King of the Hill and replaced it with Family Feud. They cut 30 Rock and replaced it with How I Met Your Mother.
But CW still has some redeeming qualities.
They are the only station I get that still has Saturday Morning Cartoons (DBZ FTW!)
Also ever since I got the "box" they played Seinfeld every night.
