I've been reading up on this lucid dreaming phenomenon and I must say I am absolutely fascinated. I am going to try these methods out over the next couple months. It sounds incredible!

You mean you've never known you're in a dream while in it? Its happened heaps for me. Just a few days ago, part way through my dream I knew I was dreaming & didn't like the dream I was in, so while in the dream, I closed my eyes & woke up in real life. In my dreams, I never know I'm in a dream from the start.
It's actually quite weird. In most of my dreams at some point in the dream (usually seconds before I wake up) I realise I'm in a dream & remember the real world. There are also times where I have control over where I move during a dream, but I don't know it's a dream. Dreams really are weird things.

I hope I'm not dreaming right now. After all, it is 1:13AM & I could very easily have fallen asleep. So this post may not even end up being posted because it's a dream.
Just a quick question. Have you ever had a dream where you can fly/hover? I've only even had 1, where I was being hovered really high up in some area surrounded by clouds. It felt amazing.

I was talking to my brother in law about this and he said he ended up in sleep paralysis. He couldn't move or speak and.he was hallucinating.

I've never experienced sleep paralysis while being awake, so I'm thankful for that.
I wonder how are brains are able to do that, to know without really knowing, that it is important to paralyze us while we sleep.
