What was the video game that got you hooked on gaming?
For me it was playing Space Invaders in arcades in 1979 when I was about 10. If I remember correctly Atari brought out a console version which you could play at home about 1981.
Hard to say, lots of little games starting with a tv based pong variant as a nipper. And then on to Donkey kong. But the game that I played when I was a bit older and really dragged me in was Doom. 3D environments and B.F.G's.

I used to love Doom also - I remember playing it for hours locked away in my room.
I also liked a game called Bloodwych a lot - It was two-player split screen dungeon explorer type game, a bit like dungeon master but for two players - Me and my mate, Ant, used to play it a hell of a lot on Atari ST.
