More suspenseful than actual horror IMO.

The book 'The Shining' by Stephen King in my opinion is better than the film. I also liked Stephen Kings other book 'Salems Lot' except the made for TV movie it was based on didn't do it justice. The best horror book ever if pushed would be William Peter Blaty's 'The Exorcist', it actually explains what was happening in the movie.

The 1960's series of Batman with Adam West was definately horrific, the strange thing is though it was so bad it was actually good.

I'm not talking about classic Adam West Batman I'm talking about terrible 1997 George Clooney Batman.

The funny thing about the original Batman is they just threw it together last minute. Add a few cheesy costume and real life celebrities, and they had a hit.

It was a different time. Now practically every superhero show and movie has to be dark and disturbed.

I personally prefer the light hearted Batman of the 1960's to the 2000's dark and disturbed version. That 60's TV series was brilliant, Batman always seemed to have what he needed in his utility belt and the special effects when someone got hit was just hilarious.

KingofCorn: The 1997 George Clooney Batman and Robin movie was worse than terrible, it has to rank as the worst Batman movie ever.

Some rank it as the worst movie ever made. The 1960s Batman theme song ruled. I use it as my ringtone.

I actually like both the old and new Batman with Bale. Batman was always a dark character in the comics, so why now on the big screen.

In 1969 Batman in the comics was like the camp TV show that was running at the time and like the TV show was about to be canceled. Luckily for Batman a new artist called Neil Adams took over the comic and made the character more serious and darker otherwise there would be no Batman today.
