Not really feeling like a chore to me, but the thrill is slowly being taken away from me. Too much voting to try to have personal selections better off or an easier path to winning, too much "taking out threats" that could jeopardize this very thing, too much swinging votes one way or another because instead of voting for that given character people are judging based solely on what gaming franchise it comes from.
To each their own, yeah, but I always just vote for who I think is better regardless of all that, even if it means none of my picks personally get through to the end or even my vote for that given round. But I honestly don't know if I'll keep voting after feeling this way; if I do, it's only because of my friendship with Matt and wanting to see his brawl be even more successful than the Pokemon Brawl.
With me not voting for Rayquaza that one time it was because Rayquaza always does well. I said he was a threat for that very reason. Because he always does well, I voted against because I slowly began disliking him for being so good. This commonly happened with Pikachu in the Pokemon Brawls.
Honestly if you, or anyone for that matter, is not enjoying the brawl, please stop. I designed this brawl for you all to enjoy, so if you are not enjoying it anymore you should stop. I don't want you to vote out of an obligation to be loyal to me.
If a few people stop voting the brawl will still be ok. Several people joined just as the brawl was starting, and it's been better than I thought it would be. If there are 4, or even less people voting, so be it.
If I ever host a second Nintendo Brawl it will last for 2 weeks maximum. Picks will be removed too.

Picks make everyone more biased for sure - not me, I accidentally voted against my Link pick AND Dry Bowser picks, knocking out both so I only have my Shaymin left.
I'd vote for removing picks for sure, but I'm still fully enjoying it - just slightly bummed when my faves drop (although it's going to happen at some point ;P).
I'm a wandering tactician, here to help those in need. My strategies are yours.
Kyogre looks strong? It's opponents have been Drake, Baby Mario, and Boo. If you compare with Metal Mario, his opponents have been Bowser, Sheik, and Krystal. All 3 had legitimate chances of making finals. Of Kyogre's opponents, perhaps Baby Mario and Boo may've made it. If Kyogre holds it's 3-2 lead, it will face Peach or Yoshi in Round 4. If it makes finals I'll believe you.
