I have fond memories of various different burgers... From widely different sources... And various countries over the years.
Very hard to say which was best though.
It has been a long time since I enjoyed a macD burger.. thou i used to look forward to them in my younger years. Burger king is better for fast food here.
Place near me has the biggest burger I've ever had.

Best burgers? In my area the best your gonna get is someone who knows the basics of frying meat. We don't really have any good chains for amazing burgers and are lacking in the food truck department
My wife loved hamburgers, made her eat a cheeseburger and she now loves them.
As for best burger? eh, hard to say... Fast food doesn't get my vote. I make a really good burger myself. Using steak seasoning and some other seasonings.
I'm not a real big hamburger fan, but I normally find the local bars to have the best tasting ones. Occasionally White Castle will sound like a good idea, but it normally turns out bad
There's a 'Big Al's' franchise in Spain that does delicious American burgers that are like three stories high, are the 'Big Als' chain of restaurants well known in America like McDonalds?
For American burger chains, I had 'In & Out' burger once.. that was very good. And I hear a lot of praise for a place called 'Five Guys'. They have a few outlets in the UK in London etc. But I've not tried them yet.

Arrgh.. you lot. All this talk meant I had to give in today and head out for dinner and have a burger (and a pint). Had BBQ pulled pork on it too.. quite good.
Now I will need another run this week.

You just can't beat a home made burger when it's been BQ'd and you used quality beef. The meat McDonalds uses in their burgers is a joke, it doesn't even taste of beef. Burger King is slightly better and I haven't had a Wimpey's in years, I'm not even sure they still exist. I remember them being popular in the late 70's - early 80's in the UK.
Ha.. yes Wimpey.. they do still exist, at least there is one in my town. I used to like them as a kid as they were the only fast food place in the town I grew up in. But I last had one at least 15 years ago and I don't have fond memories of that.

I know what you mean, Wimpey were worse than McDonalds. Their logo and colours must look badly out of date now on the high street, even McDonalds got rid of the red in their logo and replaced it with that horrid green colour they now use.
I'd have to disagree, I've had plenty of burgers better than anything Burger King has produced but I will say they are hard to beat for value for money. McDonalds in my opinion is miles behind Burger King in quality and freshness, what they produce barely qualifies as food.
