What's a good mountain bike to get? They've changed a bit since I last got one, the bikes below are what I remember having growing up in the 70's and 80's.

I suppose the best thing to do is to go into a bike shop and see what they say to me, hopefully they'll point me in the right direction. I just want a basic mountain bike that can take about 100 kg without folding in half so l can go out riding with my little boy.

That shouldn't be a problem. Yeah get yourself to a Decathlon or somewhere like that, they should be able to help.
