Not long now. Hope you are all ready to vote. I just read that the recent debate had 84 million viewers in the US, a record of some sort.. although still not quite a popular as a superbowl. Opinions seem to differ on who 'won' although I dont think that's the point. Hopefully it helps the public make up their minds.
Do any of the other candidates get to appear in the debates? I know there is Gary Johnson running and a few others.

Watched about 20 minutes of the first debate, as expected it was more personal than how they actually planned on solving issues. This election reminds me of something I would see at my local Middle School, with the personal attacks.
The general trend of politics is to talk about how bad the other person is and not how good you are. Maybe it's always been that way. Its bad because it puts many people off from even being interested.
I guess with this election you have to remember that the person being elected isnt actually going to do all the things they say, its not just up to them to make policy. What you are electing is a figurehead, a symbol of your country who will end up representing you to the rest of the world. Who's going to say the right things for the next 4 years?
