If you want to lose weight, specifically belly fat, get your wisdom teeth removed or any surgical procedure than reduces the amount you can eat or what foods you eat. Seriously, I've done minimal exercise except walk with the dogs a couple of nights (and this was before the surgery) and my small but noticeable belly fat has halved, all because I've stopped eating so much. If you're lazy like me and want to lose weight, just cut down on your food intake by a lot and see if it works. And if you can't stop yourself, force yourself. Also stop eating 2 medium sized packets of chips almost every day!

Heh.. yeah not eating is always going to help lose weight. Doing it is hard though.. but having 1 or 2 days a week where you eat as little as possible can help some people.
But then this last line is the real key. Cut out the unnecessary calories.
a bit safer than surgery

I'd advise to have your gallbladder on go on the blink. You cant eat anything as everything causes intestinal pain so I went from 60kilos to 49kilos in 4months.
