What character is best?

Which character does everyone think is best? I personally think that the best character is the sorceress, because she can destroy her enemies without needing to get touched. The only enemies she really needs to look out for are archers and others mages.

It depends on which type of strategy you choose to employ & what kind of person you are. My friends & I use necromancers & assassin (for expansion), because we're like gotics & like that kinda stuff. I prefer the necro however; because he's a summoner, so if you need extra power, summon a golem, a few skeletons & your good. As for you saying the sorc is good because she can attack without touching people, the paladin can use the spikes aura & the necro's iron golem has the spikes effect.

Right now there is a "best" character. That character would be the Scorceress. Reason is due to the patch. If you don't believe me you don't have to but right now the patch of 1.13b (I think that is what it is) makes the Scorceress the best character in the game

While that may be true, hacks play a big part in how your character is developed. My necromancer was level.25 & destroyed a lv.99 sorceress (that was like a week ago, now i'm lv. 70)

meh, i still like the sorceress only down side in my opinion is she doesnt have such a great defence, but a few armoured points should take care of that.

Or get the Tal Rasha's Wrappings set (I think this might be an expansion-only set but i'm not sure.. I'll check into this later)which is only for her.

Each chacter has their own unique set I know that the:
Necromancer= Trang Oul's Avatar
Assassin=Natlya's Odium
Sorceress=Tal Rasha's Wrappings
Barbarian=Immortal King
Druid=Aldur's Watchtower

but i forgot the amazon & paladin's sets. I'll look at my strategy guide tonight & tell you later.

You never herd fof Tal Rasha's Wrappings? They are a great set and very rare to find.

yeah, but i told you guys, it might be an expansion only set, so don't blame him for not knowing it

besides a drop mod & they won't be that rare, i got Trang Oul's set all at once for free

What makes you think she is the best? I would have to agree that her poisen combo along with the exploding lighting trap is very nice but what else do you think she is good for?

I think that the best character in the game is the Paladin but then again... the patch makes the Scorceress the best in the game with the correct stats...

Well, she has the "Cloak em' & Smoke em'" strategy...

The cloak will not help her to go against a group of monsters or duels against other people. The duel weapons along with tons of poisen and critical damage attacks I think would be the best for an Assassin, but I don't know what the best thing would be.

You cant ask What character is best... Its personal opinion all classes can be best in one way or another... Trap assassins pwn in normal and nightmare, hell they are iffy because of resists... Hammer paladins that use Concentration and Blessed Hammer its an awsome combo im making one now! =)

Wrong... If you would have studied the new patches that come out you will know what some of the things are that they do. Right now the patch the scorceres is the best character in the game. The skills and armor upgrades have made her the best for the people that know how to use a scorceress.

Yeah, there is no "Best" chars there are only good characters or characters that are better the another in certain areas... Like your sorceress might be able to pwn my WW Barb or my Zeal Pally because your ranged but when i bring my like trap/stun sin then you would get pwned heh.

I have nothing else more to say. It is all based on how you use your character in battle. If all of the characters being exactly the same would fight, the scorceress would win. That is how the patch goes.

Well; I've killed 7 sorceresses & only about 2 or 3 sorces have killed me!
