chickens came first.
reason: all lifeforms at an early stage started as a microbe (dont ask how the microbe was made!) the microbe evolvled slowly. but it wasnt stupid, think about it. if you wanted to be 20 right now and you could become that age and skip all others...you wouldnt become 15 would you? the microbe skipped the egg and went straight onto being a chicken. confused yet? i can say it in really clever language if you arnt confused!

From a religious standpoint: God made the chicken. If he made the egg first it wouldn't have had proper incubation to live.

uhm...monkeys are a different issue. the monkey was evolving the whole time, it was the first step to becoming human (except for all the steps before it). if the egg came first the egg couldnt have evolved because...its an egg. the chicken couldve evolved because...its a chicken, but obviously evolution couldnt be bothered because the chicken was already the ideal species.

lol, u guys are stupid! (no offence) the chicken had to have come from a chicken egg! therefore, the egg came first! the egg was laid by pre-evolved birds, and evolution changed the egg so it would hatch a chicken, meaning that the egg came first! you can argue me, but this is one i will take to the grave!!! the egg came first!
