Me and my friends have discussed this and we have battled each other. mew, no not mewtwo, won. Mew is also my favorite compared to mewtwo.

In pokemon blue everybody says that mew2 can beat mew by using amnesia. That only ups your special defense (and I guess special attack cause they're the same) by 1!

If Mewtwo does a few Calm Minds he can survive anything Special from Mew. Then all Mewtwo needs to do is Psychic it to death. It depends on the skill of the trainers, if you ask me. I don't like Mew though.

Well calm mind wasn't invented in REd. Besides with thunder or over heat (if you're talking thos games) could easily kill mewtwo.

And mew can learn any TM so if you have all one-hit KO moves then when mewtwo faints he loses.

In Pokemon Blue/Red, it was only SPECIAL, not SP Def/Attack, so it also upgrades your attack power.

One-hit KO moves are ineffective and have a large chance to miss. Plus they only work on certain pokemon.
