Read the book, by a long shot. The first parts of the book are distorted and Harry's rescue from the Dursleys does not appear in the game. Some are even added for filling. The book is a lot better.

The books are fantastic! They have so much more detail in them than the films. I would urge anyone who hasn't read them yet to do so!
