Japanese publication CoroCoro Comics has revealed yet another shocker in what has been a week of surprises from Nintendo, as the latest issue reveals the first images of the newest Pok�mon games for the Nintendo DS: Pok�mon Diamond and Pok�mon Pearl.
Apparently, the game will not be in 3D, although it looks noticibly better than previous installments of the series. The game will also feature the ability to upload Pok�mon from all 5 GBA installments of the series to the new games through the DS's GBA game slot. While Wi-Fi online play over Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection was not confirmed, it's a pretty safe bet that some form of online play is in the works for this game.

Thank god! I did not want it to be in 3d. That would mess up their whole reputation. I like the 2d thing.
