guys you can encounter missigno in Pokemon Fire Red/Leaf Green

it looks like a "B" with a slash "/" B/ is what it looks like except it is a little more squigly.

it is called "FG33" it is number .000 on the pokedex, i tried to train it and it evolved into a Trapinch with Hydro Cannon, Volttackle, Waterfall, and Vine Whip. but since it evolved i have not been able to get it to go any higher level. i have tried a Rare Candy on it and it still will not grow a level, it is at level 7 with *turns on gameboy*
200 HP
200 ATK
200 DEF
200 SP. ATK
200 SP. DEF
200 SPD

and it evolved with the nickname "DEATH"
i encountered "FG33" aka "DEATH" when i went into cerulean cave after i beat the e4, i was surfing to Mewtwo when the "missigno" came up after a random battle started.

i don't know what i did for it to come up, does anyone here know?

Neither did I... I wanna try! I'd have to start over though... maybe it's just the pattern you did it in. I know that on G/S if I did a certain pattern in the story I could get Pokerus. I just don't remeber what I did...

I dont believe it. First, it is well documented that nintendo removed the missingno glitch, as well as all other glitches of that sort, from Fire Red and Leaf Green. Second, it would be pretty amazing if you were the only person in the world to have had this happen and reported it online, and I defy you to find someone else who had the same experiance.

It is impossible to have something like that happen without using a gameshark/action replay.

Everythin' has a glitch. It's technology, not a brain.

Shadow, first of all, plenty of brains have glitches, those are called mental disorders. Also, please show me one documented glitch in Fire Red or Leaf Green (from a reputable source, please).

I don't know, I'm just sayin' it's possible. Nothin' in life is perfect.

After I submitted my post I wanted to add that some brains have glitches too, but I had to post elsewhere. You guys keep me busy...

True, however that doesnt mean that exploitable glitches are one of Fr/Lgs imperfections.

True, but it doesn't meant the opposite either.

No, but documentation and testing indicate that I'm correct.

So you would think... research can only go so far... Nothin' is predictable an fool proof, 'specially when manufatured by robots multiple copies at a time. The original might have been flaw-free but copies might not.

Yur one of dem scientist types eh? That explains it.

Machines arent infallible, but a glitch in manufacturing wouldn't result in the type of thing that happened to him. It would more likely result in something like a game freeze or a corrupted save file.

Nothing happened... as far as I know the only "glitch" is more of an exploitable oversight in the programming to get infinite money early on by losing to the rocket after nugget bridge. He gives you the nugget before the battle so you can get it over and over if you keep losing.

Well, as nothing is perfect, that is kind of implied. Anyways, I dont remember ever saying at any point that anything was perfect.

You should here a weird noise. Mine does that when I press "L" on the credits thing before the intro starts.
