I beat him with a team that had a highest level of 56. He's easy as crap, as long as pika don't hit with thunder first time, but he usually doesn't.

Here's how I beat em
Pikachu- Level 60 Typhlosion, Flamethrower, one shot
Espeon- Dunno
Charizard- 55-58 Lapras, 2 Surfs
Blastoise- Ampharos- Lebel 57-60. 2 or 3 thuderpunches
Venusaur- Typhlosion
Snorlax- Level 5 Gastly, no joke. Took a while though. Next time I battled it, I used Misdreavus,Mean Look, Perish Song

Espeon: Use Gengar or Houndoom.
Charizard: Feraligatr or Quagsire
Blastoise: Ampharos + Thunder. Blastoise is usually dumb enough to Rain Dance anyway.
Venusaur: Typhlosion. I never start a game without this guy. Either him or all three.
Snorelax: Gengar.
I had level 50 as highest first time I fight him.

i beat him with a lvl.57 Feraligatr with no other pokemon.
