How rich are you?

well? i have about 2.5million gil

I just threw it all away on items and no I have about 6,000 Gil.

I just paid 750,000 to Yojimbo and I've only got about 150,000 left currently. Well, compared to that 6,000 I'm sure I'm getting some kind of envious glance. I've never gotten 2.5 million though. Guess I'm going to have to work harder at it, huh?

there is an easy way to double the amount of gil you've got but its kinda complicated and i cant be bothered to post it and you have to start with at least 112,000 gil

Dear God How do ya'll get so much gil?

Buy armour with 4 empty slots from wantz, then fight kottos at monster arena twice.
armour = 100,000
fighting kottos twice = 12,000
total spending = 112,000
fighting kottos twice will give you 80 healing springs, customize these onto armour to get auto-regen, sell for 255,000. thats over double what you paid for it.

you might have to fight kottos three times cos all the arena monsters drop dark matter sometimes but thats quite rare

Ok the easiest way to get alot of gil is to have Rikku's Godhand weapon which has gillionaire on it. Go to Omega Ruins and have Auron, Rikku, and Yuna in the fighting party. When you come across a Zaurus and a chest get Auron to steal from the chest first. Sometimes it will give you an item like a Mega-Potion or a Turbo Ether. But when you don't get anything a Mimic will appear from the chest. With gillionaire equipped it will give you 101,900 gil. Hope I helped.

i used to do that but i hardly ever came across a zaurus and a chest so i started using the way i posted above which doubles the amount of gil you have

not sure at the moment but i have a lot because i sell all of what i dont use and for how much training ive done

i sell stuff i dont use either, especially after training in sin cos fiends in there drop valuable stuff

You know, you don't even have to buy the Armor from Wantz I find it easier to buy 2 slot armor and fight Kottos a couple times and sell that. I'm sure it doesn't sell as much, but I can't buy armor from Wantz because he's AWOL and I'm not going to use my precious 4 slot armor I get from Adamantoise, Varuna, and Yat-(whatever that number is) for making money.

I do need to make the ultimate armor after all. Auto-Potion, Auto-Protect, Auto-Phoenix, and Auto-Haste. Everyone uses that though.

how do you make that ultimate armor?

Auto-protect - 80 light curtains
auto-phoenix - 80 mega-phoenix
auto-haste - 80 chocobo wings
i think they're the right numbers. i cant remember how to customize auto-potion though

You need 4 Stamina Tablets. Last I checked though you don't need 80 Mega Phoenix to make Auto-Phoenix: Only 20. If you needed 80 I'd still be working on that thing!

I accidentely lied about how much gil I have though. I was looking at my new file when I posted that and when I went into my old one I discovered that I had 2.9 million. I've been working on it for the last week and a half and now I have about 10 or 11 million.

I managed to get enough armor to make the ultimate armor for everyone by fighting Varuna in Monster Arena. Did you know that with Rikku's Gillinoir ability on the Godhand you can actually make a 1000 gil profit from doing that? I found it interesting.

You can also make gil by fighting One Eye and selling the weapons he drops. A triple Ap weapon with one spare slot is worth 22,000 and a triple Ap weapon with two spare slots is worth about 65,000. It only costs 8,000 to fight him, and he'll always drop something.

Keep a two slot triple Ap weapon for your weakest character and customize it with Overdrive
