BREAKING NEWS: Cloning Glitch

As can be determined from the title, it is actually possible to clone Pok�mon on the English version of Pok�mon Emerald. The thread announcing it is here.

1. Go to the Battle Tower in the Battle Frontier. Go to the PC and save your progress.

2. Deposit the Pok�mon you wish to clone in an empty box by selecting Deposit Pok�mon.

3. Log out and save again. Now access the PC again and withdraw the Pok�mon you deposited.

4. Without saving, go over to the attendant hosting the Link Multi Battle tournament (the one farthest right). Confirm that you want to challenge and select your two Pok�mon.

5. When the attendant says she needs to save the game, respond 'Yes'. The game will freeze for two seconds. Once the game starts running again, turn off your Game Boy Advance and then turn it on again. Do NOT save the game at this point.

6. The Pok�mon you deposited and withdrew will appear in both your party and the PC.

the cloning glitch is quite helpfull for some people who don't have a cheat device and wants to clone their pokemon. i wish theirs one for Fire red or Leaf green.

I alredy made this topic.

i know this might be kind of obvious, but when you clone a pokemon, the items they are holding get cloned too. so you could clone masterballs or something else important

how do you clone on FR and LG N_D?

You have to do it when trading. You know the part when the two pok�mon go past each other? Well, you must turn the power off on both GBA's when they are exactly level with each other. Very tricky. If I want another pok�mon, I usually just hack it in.

Oh yes, I forgot to mention, for FR and LG cloning, you obviously must have no more than five pok�mon in your party.

im lucky i have both games

i have emerald and FR so i cloned my EV trained suicue
I cloned 2 of these so now i have one in emerald and FR i also cloned my shiny larvitar i caught in FR i made 3 of those

EVs- 255 speed, 255 sp. atk (i know that i over exceeded the EV limit)

Can i just say that people say that only you can cloned on the LV50, its wrong i tried with open level and it works!

yah it works in lv 50 and open level

What about Sapphire and Ruby. Any for them?
