An agonizing shriek pierced through the air, and moments later, the deformed figure of a mutilated body emerged from the foliage, gathering all of the strength that it could muster to feebly crawl out of harm's way. Then, a second figure came into view, very tall and boasting a pair of melanoid wings that were approximately fifteen feet in length.
''Ever the persistent one,'' the figure said coldly, the tone of its voice acidic and careless. ''I had given you a fighting chance, and you were unable to give me the faintest scar. My only regret is having wasted my time with a pathetic cretin like yourself.''
With a malicious grin spreading across its face, the figure opened their fist, and a small orb of black energy materialized above the palm of their hand, quickly expanding until it reached the size of a bowling ball, before being launched into the creature's face.
''And who are you people?'' they asked coldly, glancing upward at the group of Archangels and Archfiends before him.
