To obtain your starting pokemon you need to tak a personality test to see which pokemon you will obtain. This is the personality test and I hope you will enjoy it.

The actual test will also be gender related so you male players won't obtain pokemon such as chindiquil and eevee but they will obtain pokemon such as psyduck or machop.

They might need to say they are a different gender to if they want to obtain a pokemon such as an eevee.

Ya but how would an evee evolve because you need a certain stone would there be like a story mode for each diffrent pokemon?

i turned out to be a cyndiquil. but when i get the game i am going to keep trying to go for a squirstle or chikorita or charmander since there the main one from the rescuedungeon series.

You won't be able to obtain a chicorita because you will need to be a girl to obtain it but you will still be able to obtain charmander and squirtle.

I thought you could be any pokemon from any gender. I'm a 'hasty' boy and i'm a torchic (i had to take the test 3 times to get torchic) when i get mystery dungeon, i'll take the test 'til i'm torchic, name myself ginji, and get a mudkip as a partner (that's what happened in the nintendo power comic)
