It was yesterday when I was going through random articles on http://en.wikipedia.org when I found out about a website called http://www.alexa.com
This website is run by http://www.amazon.com and monitors web traffic, you can do a search and the top 100,000 sites have graphs measuring how many people visit the site. I searched http://www.supercheats.com and to no surprise we were in the top 100,000 sites. In actual fact we're ranked just short of 12,000. Of course other gaming sites like gamefaqs and IGN were going to beat us, and it shows majorly in the graphs (You can compare sites; for the record gamefaqs is ranked 404 or something of the like.) What did surprise me though was when I used a feature to measure the sites lifespan and see exactly how many views we had been getting over the years. I can tell you right now, that this year has been horrible... use this link and see for yourself:

There was a major spike in 2002, and then it dropped down fairly low, but remained steady for two years. As the forums grew popular, we hit an almost all time high in 2005, and kept it, but as 2006 hit... well you've either waited to see the graph or you've seen it and you know...
