Resident Evil 5 discussion thread

This is the topic about Resident Evil 5 and what it has in it, and stuff like that.

What does it have? I want to know wher I could find a trailer of it.

Well, the main character is Chris Redfield. It's going to be called BIOHAZARD. I'm pretty sure you can see a trailer at the capcom website.

Anyway What do you think the bosses will be like? Harder? Easier?

I imagine a bit harder, more cinematic-like. I have no idea on what any of them are gonna be, though.

The series is only called Biohazard in Japan, everywhere else it's known as Resident Evil. The merchant better be back in 5.

Well its Chris Redfield who is a member of the S.T.A.R.S team from the old RE for the Nintendo Gamcube.

it looks pretty cool, its next generation graphics which would make it even better than the last, and the guy in it looks cool, but I'm not sure how he will top leon

no, just for ps3 and 360

It's gonna have the over the shoulder camera, and controls like re4, just improved. It's going to feature Chris Redfield yet again. And the reason the zombies are fast, is because Wesker's scientists fused a lab bred ganados with the t-virus form Re2. That's what I heard.

I just read that ada will be in it.

It's set in a third-world country, and all the enemies can run fast etc...

Apparently temperature has a large effect on gameplay. If the temperature is warm, Chris will need to head to a colder room to cool down or he will begin hallucinating.

That sounds like a brilliant idea to add to the game. I can't wait to see that. I haven't seen any new trailers for it, I'll go have a looksy.

It'll get annoying though, I bet.


And it's good that this game will be in the day-time. Like, RE4 was, but only for the first bit really, a game entirely during the day is a good idea.


Also, did you guys know that this one's gonna be on 360, not just PS3?

Sony is selling out, and soon will crumble to the might of Microsoft ^_^ If only Sony would wake up and realise that they have completely screwed up...

i think they should make it for the wii i would get it for both 360 and the wii then

I saw the trailer Aaden, looks real good.

They should keep it as a ps3 exclusive in my opinion. I agree, having the game be in the day is a good thing, but I think that it'll be more creepy that way.
