the skills are good against fire or electricity I think

i forgot, but its pretty good. i think there's an attack boost, but if not then there is fire resistance. if that isn't it, then i completely forgot, but trust me, it's worth getting for some reason.

the skills for the ratholos armor set is a large attack bonus(24) +10fire resistance and -20dragon resistance...i think

Yup, Swing is 95% correct.
The Ratholos armor also has an ability (For got the name) that makes wyvern attack you more offten. This is good for when your fighting a Ratholos because he tends to fly around less.
