I have looked everywere for a daedric helmet. I've look in rockmilk cave and fort Allesia, and I've been through each like a 100 times!

In the realm of Oblivion you sometimes come across them. I will tell you that they are rather rare.

Be sure you are lvl. 20 or above or there is no chance of seeing it. Even if you're a high level they are rare like norbie said. Mostly found on "boss" characters. I found my first one on Black Brugo in the quest where you help an orc (Magoza I think) in Leyawiin kill him.

But think, if he is looking for it he surely has the rest of the armor, so he is probably ;evel 20 or above.

well i am lv 24 but i cant get into oblivion ne more ive closed all the gates. Does this mean i will never get one?

Even the ones in the woods? There are a lot of Oblivion gates in the forests and stuff. I found one on top of a mountain one time.

well when martin defeated mehrunes dagon all the oblivion gates i had found but not closed had closed, so i guess i assumed it closed them all.
oh and Steven88 you dont have to be so harsh about it.

you can actually get one off a character in the roxy inn, or in the merchant quest (the one in the imperial city with thornir) at the very end when you have to kill a guy. They do come up as findable items in chests (i found one in a chest) and you can get another in the Boethea's tournament of ten bloods (it begins at an alter)
