First off, I would like to say that this is a very strictly-guided clan. If you do not have intentions on animation, DO NOT SIGN UP HERE! We work basicly on sprite videos here. REMEMBER: Our one goal here is to become the best animators SC has ever known!

It's not waht you are suppoesed to do, but what you can do, or what you want to do. A good site for Gimp tutorials is www.gimptalk.com. It has many, many good things on it. If you are doing animations, I'd suggest you'd get GAP for Gimp, is on this page, somewhere. Just look. But, it isn't neccesary, as most people in SC who make animations with Gimp, including me, don't have GAP.
And so he said, "and there will be delicious cake", and with those words, I said, "I see what you did there..."
I have Gimp, and even if I used PS, I don't remember exactly how I did it. Pretty much you make a BG, duplicate it 50 times, put a render in, resize it 50 times, add some effects, and optimize it for a Gif. Oh, and add text and a border...
