The Loch Ness Monster, sometimes called Nessie, is a mysterious and unidentified animal, or group of animals, claimed to inhabit the Scottish loch of Loch Ness, the largest freshwater loch in Great Britain by volume. Nessie is usually categorized as a type of lake monster.
Proof? what do you think? Could 50,000 people just seen an illusion or just made it up? You decide.
Anyone live near the lake? Have you seen it before?
there is no real proof if ''Nessie'' is true or alive in some sort of matter. All we know is that ''Nessie'' is a mythological creature that have been living in the lake of loch ness. As we know myth's are not true so ''Nessie'' is far more not true..

There has been some "evidence" of Nessie, but it can be an illusion sometimes. And when people used the SONAR system to detect life forms, they found nothing because Nessie is supposed to be a huge creature, but how can something so big be hidden so easily. It's the same with giant squids with eyes the size of houses.

Well if Nessie is real, it is most likely that a creature like that would have to have some way to hide itself so maybe it can somehow make itself invisible from any type of device that tries to detect it. Or maybe it just goes invisible.

Nessie was first spotted in 1890s (I think) and scientists searched ever since. If she did exist, don't you think they would find a 5 ton monster by now?
I believe in it because they can't prove it which is proof that it exists.
That is a perfect example of a fallacy: argueing from ignorance. So you are saying that because there is no evidence that it doesn't exist then it must exist? Pah! Load of bull if you ask me.

You'd have thought so yeah. Plus: how woulod Nessie live? She would need a large amount of food supply to give enough energy for that massive body.

It is not bull because: 1. I never said it must exist, I said it is proof. 2. No proof is proof. 3. How does anyone know nessie is a living thing and not a robot with a sonar disortation thing? 4. I am not argueing, you are because I didn't say that to you or anyone, just telling my thought in a discousion.
I believe there is a creature in the waters... but not a "monster"... I believe it is a dinasaur and its race/specie has lasted this long...... but, thats just my theory...
