Rare Pokémon Discussion: List of Legendaries on first post: Updated 6/29/07

First of all, seeing as this thread is pinned, make sure you don't spam or go off-topic here. In addition, any other threads about a legendary Pokémon will be considered duplicates and will be immediately closed.

This thread is for the sole purpose of discussing the legendary Pokémon in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team. You may ask questions about how to recruit them, tell which ones you already have, announce the next one you aim to reruit, etc.

2/15/07: List of legendary Pokémon including recruitment rates and locations added.

2/25/07: Legendary Pokémon sizes added.

3/28/07: The levels at which the legendary Pokémon are recruited added. Also, the legendary Pokémon that can only be recruited after the first encounter have been noted.

4/11/07: Notification of Ho-Oh and Mewtwo being recruitable only after the first encounter added. In addition, item(s) required to either recruit or even encounter Regirock, Regice, Registeel, Mew, and Jirachi added.

6/29/07: nhahtdh has informed me that Jirachi does not require the Wish Stone to recruit. Thus, the list is updated once more.

simple enough i really want mew celebi and deoxys and deoxys and mew both refuse to join my team so i need a littl help on getting them. I actually quit on celebi considering im no good at redusing to lvl 1 dungeons and i can't get to him or jirachi.

Charizard will help with Wish Cave and Purity Forest. Heat Wave is a really good attack.

Deoxys' recruitment rate is -10%, so you can cancel that out with a Friend Bow, and have a high level Pokémon boos your chances even further, and of course, the Luciaro Rank helps, too.

Mew will be a bit tougher and easier. Mew can only be found on one floor out of 64 floors, but it's original recruitment rate is 0.9%.

I have yet to actually make it to Celebi or Jirachi, and Deoxys just refuses to join me.

For Deoxys, I use my lv. 100 Charizard with friend bow, and Lucario rank, and I have battled it at least 20 times and it still wont join me.

And evrytime I try to get through Purity Forest I only make it to floor 90.

And in Wish Cave the furthest I have ever gotten is floor 35

say.. mummification.. have you got an alakazam in your game? if ya do.. use hm in wish cave.. but make sure you have pass scarf, 3 frustrations 5max elixers, 5 huge apples 5 reviver seeds and 99 gravelerocks.. that should bring you through wish cave farely fast but alakazam going through wish cave can get to floor 50 no problem w/o needing rescueing

yes I have Alakazam, I will try that, and see what happens

Ummm...don't you need to have Surf with you to get in Wish Cave?

me and alakazam gotten to floor 55 on wish cave without rescue and then finally died cause of a mosterhouse and that we ran out of max elixers and teleport pp lol

I guess I am pretty lucky because I got Deoxys on my first try but I cant seem to get the three dogs![u][/u]

actually guys,the rank does not have anything to do with the recruitment rate!and mummyfication,i got celibi and have yet to get jirachi.i used alakazam to get through the dungeon,teleporting away from pokemon from 50+ floors onwards.deoxys you should get a level 100 pokemon,equip it with a x-ray specs and then after that go to floor 19 found the door equip the friend bow.wish you good luck in catching the 3 pokemons!

that is what I do with Charizard, and Deoxys is just being stubborn.

On serabii though it says that rank does increase chances though.
P.S. people have a lot of differant thoughts about this game.

What is the best move to learn Deoxys??

lugia pwns all the other pokemon.

Master, he shows up randomly and usually he comes 2-3 times each for me. I already have him though.

I got Mew the second time i meet it

i need loads of legendaries

oh, the dogs, someone told me its near impossible for them not to join, yet ive fought each 1 10 times and nothing :(

is it a -10 recruit rank? did they tell me the wrong recruitment?

it took me a few times to get Suicune, but if you keep at them they should join. The hardest one I had to get to join you, besides Deoxys, was Rayquaza. I literally fought him a hundred times before he joined me.
