Did you like X-2

Im somewhat new to Final Fantasy, I started with IX and only played a little of 8 and 7, 6, 5, and 4 and 3, but out of all of them X-2 was the worst. I did enjoy playing it, but in comparison to the others it wasn't my cup of tea. The battles were really boring, and the style of game was horrible because of the stages. Only having 3 female characters was a massive let down especially because it was lingerie (sp) show on all of them.

The storyline was good, but it didn't capture my heart.

Im curious if I'm alone in my views or do others find it sub FF work.

I think you are toally wrong FFX-2 is a great game much better then FFIX and 6,5,4,3,2,1,XI. I know what you are talking about when you said about it being 3 girls I would of liked it to been more guys in it also and the missions where alittle werid at first but it helped the story to go on like time passing on instead of one striaght story line(if that made any sense to you).

The battles I think are to easy and quick for my liking and the changing of dressphere just to wear there speacial dressphere was just pointless but the battles were more real in the way it was done.

I loved IX...and will take your life if you bash it in depth...

The dress spheres were horrible because once you finished one you had to go on to the next one and start again without any good skills and you couldn't be a black mage an a white mage without doing weird things with the sphere grids, which I also hated with a passion.

It was way too free play, yet not free enough because I enjoy walking around not flying everwhere.

The music also was too upbeat most of the time and I hate happy.

Well I guess I am alone in my views. I played X-2 immediately after X so I guess I saw more comparison?

Anyways, sorry if I was being mean, but to me, this was one of the worst I've played.

It was nice to see them moving around, but sometimes they left the screen and the girls were too hoppy.******I believe Square was attempting to appeal to a more feminine audience (Thats not to call it a girly game by any means) and made subtle selections that would be more apealing to women.

I love FFX-2. It's my favorite final fantasy game. It's cheery and not so confusing as the others. And it's not very hard. I could never get very far in FFX. The end bosses are pretty easy and I was only level 50 or something. If FFX had levels, I'd need to be a pretty high level to do good. And also, 999,999 is highest amount of HP an enemy in FFX2 has. X has Nemesis with MILLIONS of health. I know it is optional, but still.... that's a lot.

I liked it, it's better then FF VII and all the others, except for FF X and FF VIII

Thats funny, cause I loved 10, and generally 7 is the best to most people.

It was too easy though as Darkdreamer99 stated. Not hard. And they really on'y created more questions than answered. The idea of a sequal is to tie loose ends and give closure. I dont feel this had it.

I liked the battle system. And it didn't bother me that they were all girls. It's tone was a lot less darker than in the others.

Ok, I enjoy dark and romantic. The romance was really...weird in this. It wasnt like in the others where u are a slum kid and a girl likes you, but you like royalty perfect girl.

It was Yuna misses Tidus. The crazy lady in Guadosalam. And Lenne and Sh-something. It just was different.

It was too happy. I hate happy. Anyways, I guess I am alone in my views. People can continue posting, but I probably wont check back.[u][/u]

Fair enough, everyone to their own. But would you prefer that all the FF�s had apocalyptic suicidal endings.

im not too far in the game and i already like it
i just wish i had more time too play it
i will over summer though

oh and ive also played like side games i guess you could cal them like tactics and tactics advance and dirge of cerberus

Iv played FFCC for the GameCube and Dirge Of Cerberus but I think they have been alet down
