Who was your starter pokemon?

Who was your starter pokemon?

Mine was Torchic. I've only started over (on Emerald 'cause I don't have Sapphy) twice now an' both times were Torchic.

Why did you start this topic in like every pok�mon forum? Trying to bump your post count up?

Anyway, I just start with any random one. I slightly prefer Mudkip to the other two though.

i don't like to choose the water type because in every freakin pokemon game there are way too many water types, and some of them are quite a bit better than the starter. Grass types are somewhat useless: they are only strong against water, ground, and rock. water covers ground and rock itself, but isn't vulnerable to fire, like grass is.

i usually pick the fire type in any pokemon game because fire types aren't too common, and they just have unique strengths. that, i think, is what makes it worth it all in the game.

I start out with Treecko and just cheated to get my uber pwnish pokemon Charizard

Well, in Blastoise's case: Starmie, Poliwrath and several others are better.

In Feraligatr's case: Quagsire is better, amongst several others.

In Swampert's case: No-one, other than Kyogre (who shouldn't count because it's an uber), is better.

Does it really matter?

I chose mostly with fire types but i occasionally start with grass type, the water pokemon arent to bad but they are useless whe it comes to electricity.

I don't do it all the time. I just did it twice in a row in the same thread. Gets annoying after a while, you know. I mod all 5 GBA pok�mon forums now, I have to deal with that a lot.

Anyways, back on topic. I usually start with Mudkip in Sapphire, Treecko in Ruby, and Torchic in Emerald.

mines was mudkip.

i start with torchic on ruby, mudkip on sapphire and treecko on emerald, it makes the game interesting to say the least
