Should i buy it?

Ever since i heard of it (today lol :D) i checked around on a few websites to check the price in all and it seems pretty cheap, but should i buy it?

Yes, definately. it's a great game that shouldn't be passed by.

It was up for RPG of the year. It lost to some lame game I never herad of, but being nominated is a gigantic honor

Yes it is good. Gameplay is different from all previous FF installments but evolving with the type of gameplay that is becoming ubiquitous today. Definitely worth a try, especially if the priced dropped and you have not bought it yet.

I think that's a little harsh. People never post a reasons. They just say opinions. But I guess we can't debate this here. Though I prefer people to give reasons, I don't think it's against the rules not to.

ANYWAYS. GET IT! It's awesome, and the graphics and movie-clips are to die for. Really..it starts with like a 15 minute opening video.

Just thinking it might be stupid asking "should I buy this game" in a Final Fantasy XII forum because you aren't going to get someone saying dont buy this game its horriable because we would post here if we didnt like this game

I do that all the time. I go to forums of games I don't like and I tell people that the game is horrible, Don't waste your money on it.

Anyways...WHACK! back on topic.

I'll give you cons. Story is same old FF cliche', some think characterization isn't up to par, monsters seem to all be the same(they look the same at least), some weapons way too difficult to obtain(Tournesol for instance), and there are several others that I've heard but less significant. I think most people would agree, though, that the pros outweigh the cons in this game.

The characters do look amazing. (except for muscles, they failed in making a 6-pak).

It is the same storyline, but it has worked for....12+ games, and shows no sign of stopping

ESPECIALLY BECAUSE OF GAMBITS! NO MORE WAITING FOR FIGHT SCENES! It's all live, right in front of you. You can pick fights, or run away from monsters (There are like 30 monsters in the game and reused over and over again, which is lame, but whatever, they die).

Buying Magicks and Technicks is nice, and the abilities and things are similar to that of FFX, only you have a lot more freedom to move around, rather than a this to the next to the next.

And the best part is, everyone can use everything!

I definitely reccomend buying it mainly for the all new battle system no more waiting and you can see your foes coming and be prepared to face it but i reccomend buying the guide aswell as it is a pretty hard game and with the guide you can do all side-quests get all espers and have every tip on the bosses. It is a brilliant game truly worth getting...

I love the animations for the Quickenings and the Esper Deathblows

I know theyre so awesome. Sometimes I wonder if they wouldve been made better? Actually, there are some flaws within Basch's and Fran's first quickenings. If frans, the final explosion sound is triggered about half a second to early, and in basch's, her hands arent fully gripped around is energy ball.

I have a con-There are no orginal summons like Shiva, Ifrit, Bahumat and Leaviathan there all ships and it all new summons which I dont really like because I dont even know what some are soposted to be

Well, all the espers have what they are after their names. ie: Belias the gigas, Zalera the death seraph, and so on.

im curently playing this game right now actually, at first the the new battle system and rules seemed a little hard to follow but i figured it out pretty quick,
the story is typical of final fantasy but ive enjoyed it so far, i would recommend buying it ,its worth it
