SOTW Problems and Suggestions

It is very unorganized right now.

Main Competition:
I say we start it on Monday and end it on Friday.

Voting:
Then we vote on Saturday and Sunday and decide a winner on the following Monday.

Theme:
There should be a theme voting thread starting on Friday and ending on Sunday. We should have a theme suggestion thread on Monday and end it on Thursday.

Competition:
Start it Sunday, end it Thursday. The weekend is about the only free time I have to make signatures.

Voting:
Start Friday, continue through the weekend, then post the winner at the earliest time possible on Sunday.

Theme:
I think that you should just decide a large portion of themes all at one time. Like... a few months worth. This will make it so that you only have to vote for one thing at a time. I know it's not a big deal that you would have to vote for two things on Saturday and Sunday; it just seems it would make the whole thing a bit easier and organized.

Theme: I agree with STL Cardinal, just do one mass voting and get it over with.

Also, I think the topic should be started by a moderator. Most of the mods are more active than Nino, and it seems more fitting anyways.

The discussion thread should also be pinned. I also think a moderator or a super moderator should run it.

Well, I sgree with the one big thread for a month of themes. And a mod should run it. Hopefully, I will mod this place soon.

I come on all the time.

The ONLY mod that is as active/more active than me is RJ Fighter . SM4U & Jamarie aren't on that much.

RJ has benn very active lately, which is good as he used to be inactive.

I am active, but I don't mod here, yet I do mod here.

This isn't the place for that kame. Do that in the discussion thread. We are talking about suggestions to make it more organized.

The discussion thread should be pinned with the competition itself...and the real thread should have entires come in Monday-Friday, then the rest of the posts there should be for votes only.

You shouldn't be able to enter pre-made signatures (signatures you made before the competition started). This is the only site I've seen where it is allowed.

I said this would happen. And I did tell you to keep it organiized.

Make a thread for the entries, keep that pinned and clean of spam. Make a discussion topic if you wish, but keep that clean and have no entries in it. I don't think there's a real need for it to be pinned, but it won't harm lives I guess. And Only make the vote topic once all the entries have been in.

And I agree that a mod should make the topics, just incase Nino can't get on and it needs to be editted for new entries.

Rules for the SOTW should be posted in the first post of the entries topic, and a link in the discussion topic should redirect back to the SOTW entry thread.

And I am active. Just because I don't post, doesn't meean that I'm not watching. I'm on in every lesson that I have access to a computer and I'm on at home. I just haven't been that active lately because of my bf and I've been addicted to MGS3 for the past few days. I'm sorry.

So: I'd advise that rules be made and posted in the first post of the SOTW, once a mod or Smod has gone over them. All topics for the SOTW should be clean, and spam free, if anyone(Like Nino or Blade) would be able to, provide their email in the first post of the entry topic in case they need to be contacted about something.

I think someone else, if they are willing too should run the SOTW, because Stupid Nino is not doing a good job of it.

I am not trying to offend him, it is just I think someone like XB, or Jamarie could do much better.

Here is my proposal,

We should close the current SOTW, though then transfer the art from week one, we will then vote on that, and then we will continue with week two, but with better time requirements, and it will end, and then from then on, it should be more orginized, with a new head of staff of the SOTW, I would do it, if people wouldn't mind, and if you have anything that I should add, or take away, I will gladly do it, and have the rules. I am always active, I will make sure all of the forums are in order, of course you will have to first approve of my plan, before me, or who ever wants to lead it, will take charge.

It doesn't have to be a mod. Anyone can edit their own posts.
