Actually the reason tom's ban was so funny is because he said to Dave "Go on, ban me, i dare ya" or something like that. And Dave said "Ok then". He didn't expect him to actually do it.

I've been banned twice. Twice I didn't do anything. Twice by Dave.
First one: Was about from November 2005 to sometime at the beggining of 2006.
Second one: A while ago. I was banned for no reason, let back an hour later reinstated with all my mod spots. Looked pure pwnage.

.... I don't think they are worth a word. They merely show an emotion, or to look cool. In fact that had smiley had no relevance to the post. I refuse to count it as a word, until I am told otherwise.

I was IP banned at my school once for an incident involvin' one of my evil people there who decided to spam SC. Then I got banned 'cause I got snippy with Davey while I was "gone".

from what I read, it was how it was used in the context to tell if its a word. And what spade did, didn't seem like a word.
