Wow... my grandpa/grandma from my dad's side both died within the last few years, and another grandparent from my mom's side before then. But then again, we've never had any relatives in our state(except for my dad's side on the other side of the state), so I've never known them really well, except for vacations and suchlike.
Good luck with this, loony... it's not a good situation to be in to say the least, but try and keep on the positive side where you can.

If she dies that's too bad but you'll get over it eventually. My mom died when I was 7 and it was hard but I got over it and my Grandma died when she was 90 and I got over that too.
