The Worst Starter

well squirtle is a ***, chikorita is hard to work with in jhoto and isnt all that cool lookin and torchic just sucks by far for kanto bulbasaur is best jhoto cyndaquil (cause its kinda hard beating elite four with feraligator) and mudkip (all around good u can beat elite for with just him)

The worst is Chikorita, no doubt.

Well, I think I know what people here aren't competitive battlers...

potatoe- first off, ROFL! You think Blastoise is best? I pitty you. Second, don't post in all caps, it's a form of flaming.

Both of you, I want you to read the forum rules before posting again.

It's been a long time since I posted last but I need to fix what I said.
In Kanto I said Blastoise was the weakest, and he still is. But Venusaur is my least favorite. He's big, slow and ugly. Plus he lives in Kanto where psychic types rule. Grass types also have a nasty reputation for being weak to a lot of things.
In Johto Chikorita is both worse looking and weaker than the other two. Unless you use it defensively there's really not a lot of point.
In Hoenn I still haven't made my mind up on who's weakest. But even though Swampert is powerful he's my least favorite of the trio. He seems so slow and brutish to me. Besides a Blaziken with endure/reversal kills him anyways.
In Sinnoh Empoleon is the worst in ability in my opinion. Drill peck is useful for both starters but the other two have earthquake and close combat for Infernape. Piplup looks like a frozen Torchic.

use are all dumb a)there is no best nor worst starter if you train them enough they all have a far chance

but i think blazikens the best he beats ice and physic and a lot of other pokemon in the game with blaze kick of course mine is a level 54-60 when i battle the elite four in the elite 4

i think treecko is the worst due to the fact he isn't much help in the start you might as well catch a : poochyena zigzagoon taillow wingull and level it up i mean treecko is beaten by taillow with wing attack or peck wingull by the same moves he is hopeless thats my opinion any way

Well. I'm convince. That must be the stupidest thing I've heard in my life. Treeko (AKA Sceptile) Is NOT the worst, he's actually one of the best, and, in addition, he's known as the second best grass in the game (Other than Torterra) and as one of the speediest pokemon in the game. Also, all the starters don't have a good chance, the only way a blastoise could beat swampert is if there's a HUGE level differance (ie. B-lv.100 S-lv.40) Or if the bastoised has been hacked to be uber.

I agree! On my pokemon gold, I picked Chickorita, and I died all the time!

This was barley bumped, but still try not to do it, just let it die, I'll keep this open, since it's relevant, but try not to bump it again.

And don't double post, I'm deleting one.

Lastly, Team Magma dosen't use fire pokemon way too much, their boss uses one or two, but the rest are pretty much Mightiena's and Golbat's. Sceptile still owns even in Ruby, and I'd know, I used 'im.

In leaf green/Fire red it's Squirtle (i think that's how you spell it)
In Ruby/Sapphire it's Torchick
In Diamond/Pearl it's that monkey one! (I don't know its name)

I hate them! I don't know why though!

Hi! I just got an Action Replay and it's not working! I put it in my Nintendo DS, I took it out again and put in the game I wanted, then it said "Unknown Game" (or something like that). Is it faulty? Can someone tall me what's happening and what I need to do to get it working!?

2- Steph, wrong topic, there's a pinned topic for this, although, I doubt it'll get answered, since I know nothing about AR's, and this forum, The Pokemon Ruby Forum, is virtually dead, I'm just here to answer the occasional question and pick up any trash that gets left lying around.

And also Charmander, Cindaquill and Treeko are the best starters
