It was unbeleiveably hard to make my own website, and it is pretty much blank. I spent about 8 hours to get this.

You can't do anything on it, except look at it.

Yeah, thanks for takin over when I wasn't here ares.

I looked it up html on wikipedia, read some, then used a link from there for some tutorials, than spent a lot more time reading and learning the html codes and stuff.

One thing I want to add. HTML is also used in Myspace. Thats why for some people it takes time to make a myspace. And they are also confused on what is HTML.

Well, that's a decent start.

Once you master the basics, such as all that, you'll soon move into CSS, validation, and JavaScript, and eventually you'll have something like this. (This a custom Blogger template that I made.)

Yeah, and after I get the html and xhtml, and css, I'll be able to create a good website.

Cross, did you have to pay anything to make that site?

You can make a decent site with just html..

I haven't done the layout for some pages though.

I just have to figure out how to create a template for the site and put it in the background, and that will make it look much better.

i don't know about anything for PS but there's a tut on gimptalk for making website layout or sumthin in the user submited and there is an HTML section too...hope this helps

Skyline, saying it's not very good is hardly fair. Do you know how difficult it is making your very own website? And from what I've read, he doesn't have tools like in what is supplied in website hosting such as freewebs.com

he made it from scratch, for a beginner it's pretty good, i usually check other sites for help like ccszengarden, my current skin on my site isn't too good but meh, you'll get there.
