I think freeservers allows more space, plus I don't have to have
"freewebs" in the website name.

Well i have used Freewebs because it looks easier and you can choose templates. JJ what template did you use? because i am trying to choose which one but i dunno.

I can put in a template too, but I didn't want to. I want it to be MY website, with only my work, no-one elses.

Custom is coded from scratch.

HTML gives a very limited amount of interactivity though. Templating is fine though. Just the fun stuff like forms etc need more languages.

That's a good start, try combining tags and so on, like {b}{i}Bold AND italic :O{/b}{/i}. :P { = < remember ;)
Then, I'd move onto tables and CSS. That's where skinning starts

Yeah. Thanks. The only problem is if I make a website that can have interactivity, I will have to pay for it, as it will have to have a lot more space than I can use on freeservers.

I would offer you some of my 300Gb of webspace but I don't have time to set it all up, sorry.

Not exactly. Donated by a friend who bought it when they thought thought they would need it. Turned out they didn't. The other admin payed for the domain, and I was paying 4 pounds a month for webspace before that.
