I have to agree with Oddball here. I can see forums for television, film, and music, but TSCT and Education are the main culprits, being the areas which probably weed the last real topics out of General Chat.
The SuperCheats Times, I'll say this, is just an attempt to recycle a project that pretty much went to hell and of which its creators quickly got bored by using it for a current objective that somehow is conveyed in the name. The Education Forum can be seen as a front in a school environment, but it's not used enough now to really be such. Those two, we can merge back into General Chat.
As Dave said, it's also probably due to the frequent change of blood in the Staff Forum. I miss people like Actionshark and Nintendo_dude, who were probably some of the most decent mods around. These days, though, we're stuck with a surplus ? usually more than 100 moderators, some of whom tend to be lenient on grammar and post etiquette.
And don't get me started on the effect of Team and Clans.
