Scams only work when the get to keep the money. If you'll remember, in the squirt gun episode, the Kankers took their cash.
One of my favorite scams was when they turned Jimmy into a Sumo Wrestler and Ed gets stuck in his belly-button.

Yeah, then Eddy dosen't go through with the scam, and it turns out if he did, he wouldda become filth rich (Although he and Jimmy would be arguing about who got how much of the money while double D attempted to divide it up evenly and Ed said random stuff)

My favourite episode is when the Eds are missing, the cul-de-sac kids find monkey world and something happens to all of them, then kevin flips out and runs, then it shows Eddy ripping off Ed and Edd's clothes off to search for Ed's monkey hand and mask, then Ed has two bananas up his nose.

I liked the episode where Ed loses Eddy's dirty magazines, then Eddy steals Double D's hat and Ed's eyebrow lol.
But my two favorite expisodes are:
