To let everyone know, I'm shy okay. And there's this girl I met at school who's not that hot, but she's not ugly. and I've talked to her about 5 hours on myspace and I'm guessing that she's my girl friend now, but I don't know where to take her on a first date, any suggestions?

Movies are a good bet. talk before and after, watch a good movie which provokes lots of conversation, adn you hang out for 5+ hrs and only talk to her for 2+, and its not that creepy or uncommon

First off, make sure she's yur gf. O.o
For a first date try a simple movie an' fast food dinner. (If she expects more she's either spoiled rotten or a word I cannot say in front of younger kids.)
If you like her, THEN start to think about bigger things. Spoil 'er with flowers an' chocolates an' expensive dinners an' moonlight walks on sandy beaches an' cuddlin' in front of a nice warm fireplace an'... me is to stop now. =| I'm gonna upset myself...
Keep it simple at first. Don't waste yur time or money on a ***. =]

Keep it simple for a long time. Never invest a lot of money in a girl unless your sure what you have is magic (but 9999 times out of 10,000 you're going to be wrong). Have fun and see what happens.

Well..the only thing I'd suggest is the movies, nobody where I live takes a girl out....they just hang out at various shops an' make out numerous times... <---- you could do that also

Park is a bad idea, I took someone there on a first date (well she did actually, as we were in her town and I went over) and it ended up with me being stuck with her for like 5 years

Haha! But here...theres only 2 places for people that can't get into pubs to do...thats Park [skating, talking and such], and the primary school for skating and pongball]. Unless we go to peoples houses. But 90% of us like like 3 miles away...

Ah yes, I forgot the age matter...here 16 is allowed to enter most clubs (including drinking alcohol), only the reel hardcore ones are 18+ and in these you often have to be dressed special to...like Nike shoes and jeans and you will be kicked out before you could enter
