I can't see anyone going to admin. I don't know the Smods well.
What seperates Admin and Smods, Admin can ban and ip check? Too many cooks spoils the soup (or whatever). Keep the current Admin, and don't add anymore or else nothing would get done.
I think people view it as a status thing too much, being a member is fine, not being an admin is fine. I get a feeling that it's more of something to gloat over than to do their job. (Im for having a post count thing and Rank and stuff)

Lol, Dennis posts once in a blue moon, Crossy admits he's inactive and Rich posts one-five posts every few days, but even then, It doesn't matter. Four admins is more than enough to do the extra things Smods can't, such as Ban, Unban, edit sigs, posts and topic titles.

I like the ability to moderate anything in any forum, beats the hell out of waiting for someone else to do it or asking an admin.

Why the hell would the site need a new admin? If it's going to happen, it will happen in a few years. And in that time, the list of candidates will have changed greatly.

To be perfectly frank, I doubt there will be any more Administrators for a long time. The only reason to add any now would be if Youkou leaves, which I don't think he intends to. That would leave you all with a shortage of active Administrators, wouldn't it? Funny thing how these topics always pop up, but nothing ever changes due to them.
