Actually I'm pretty sure, only very accomplished witches/wizards can do it. Ex: Voldemort, Dumbledore, (maybe) The Order, (maybe) Hogwarts staff.

Fiendfyre was what Crabbe used when they were fighting in the Room of Requirement and it ended up killing him and destroying the diedem thing.

It was Horcrux that Voldemort used to split part of his soul into. The Diadum was Helena Ravenclaw's and it would give the wearer great wisdom.
Anyways about the Fiendfyre: Anyone could do it, but as Hermione said: "I didn't mention it before because it's really dangerous." Due to the fact that it is hard to control and what not.

How long did it take you? It took me 3 days, but I comprehended it just fine. Although with Potter books you seriously do have to read them [/i]at least[/i] twice. After reading book 1, 2, 3, and 6 twice I've already read something I couldn't remember at all from the first time I read it. -Sig credit goes to PhilXZ. see i bought the 7th book the day it came out but i didnt really start reading it till we took this huge road trip and i was on ch 8 and i got to ch 35[yes i read THAT much] then when we got home i finished it up the next day so it probably took me about... 12 hours to read it? not sure

The Dark Key Master: Road trips are great for reading aren't they! I read like 3/4 of PoA in a four hour ride and a 5 hour plane ride. The only thing is, I can't read for that long.
