I seen that in Pokemon D/P a new rodent came and joined the rivalry of Pikachu. A squirrel looking pokemon called Pachirisu. Pachirisu looks sort of like Pikachu with the yellow cheeks and being an Electric type. Also to match with Pikachu, it also is a rodent. But thing is, which one is better? Ash's original first pokemon Pikachu? Or the Pachirisu Menace? :D I prefer Pikachu, since it's overall yellow, yellow being my favorite color. So what about you? o:

I've only used Pikachu on my game so far, I'm going to vote for the electric rat because I haven't used the hyperactive squirrel yet.

It' actually a good question. Pachirisu has better base stats, but pikachu has a better moveset.

I am probably the only one thats gonna say this but I like Pachirisu better. I just think that he is a really good pokemon and it is easy to win contests with it and he is cuter =]

Pachirisu's pretty much only good for contests actually, I use it as well...

It looks like Pikachu was the better choice overall! Ha, take that you squirrel thing! *bonks Pachirisu with newspaper* Anyways, that is true. Pikachu does get better stats when it holds the Lightball. Pachirisu might be cute enough for contests, but not good enough for battling.

Raichu is FTW. He rocks overall, but Pikachu is given credit for being his pre-Ev right? To me, Pachirisu needs an EV since it's a normal electric type.
