You're right, it should've been a draw, but that's all City seem to play for; Derby Day. And that's what agrovates me about certain City fans; they beat us and just because of that, think they're better than us.
Anyway, enough of my rant, we beat Spurs today with a strike from Nani. It could've gone either way. Spurs should've had a penalty in my opinion when Brown handballed it and stopped them from scoring, but it was only when the replay was shown that I knew he handballed it. Ferdinand didn't play too well, but made up for it by clearing it off the line, stopping Berbatov from claiming a goal. Robbie Keane hit the bar early on, and other than that, there wasn't much to talk about in the first half.
Same goes for the second half, not much action. It was only when there was twenty to twenty five minutes left that both teams stepped up a gear. It was around this time when the ball fell to Nani, who was about twenty five yards out, who decided to shoot. This resulted in a goal, frustrating Spurs who had put up a brave effort. Martin Jol resoponded by making a few attackive subs. But despite this, it was Berbatov who almost equalised, taking a cracking shot that was only a few milimetres away.
That's almost everything, this Brown handball will certainly stir up some trouble, increasing the arguement of video replays. Sorry if I sounded like a reporter but I thought I'd put forward my view of the game.
