6 points, not including todays match, and they have yet to win Wigan, but look, if they beat 'em both at the same time, then they don't have to care about the match against Arsenal, but they ave to watch out if they fail to win Manchester City.

3-5-09(including todays match)

1 Manchester United 80

2 Liverpool 77

The table will look this way if they win both Wigan and Manchester City:

1)Manchester United 86

2)Liverpool 80(I doubt they can lose West Brom)

But I'm afraid that Manchester United will lose to Arsenal, though.

Could Newcastle be going down? What a surprise it would be if Stoke City and Hull City both stay up (Stoke is almost certain to, Hull needs to get some points badly).

Long story short: Manchester United will have to watch out if they lose in the Manchester derby and Arsenal.

That will be a shock if Newcastle United get relegated, it's becoming possiblilty as they are dangerously close now with not many games left to get out of trouble.

If they get relegated, I do feel sorry for them, from title contenders over 120 months ago to become relegation candidates, But I have to post, if Kevin Keegan was here I believe this wouldnt have happened.

Kevin Keegan... A great player but not too sure if he was any good as a manager, I still remember him losing the title when he managed Newcastle in 1996 by spending money on more attacking players which he had lots of already and none on defenders and they lost an 11 point lead to Manchester United.

I have to say that Newcastle are in a ton of trouble if they don't beat Middlesbrough. Heck, both teams need a win there. The loser is likely doomed.

I hope they televise that game, I find those kind of games more exciting than the ones where the same old teams are battling for the championship. I think it's because the players are fighting for their livelihood.

If Hull wins against Stoke, then yes, if not, it stays the same.

That's true, but if there is a loser in that game, people will be left wondering "If we can't pick up points here, then where will we?"

Where is the game being played by the way?

Don't worry, I always do get up to watch the games in the morning. I don't sleep very well Friday nights-Saturday mornings for some reason.

So who will get promoted to the Premier League next year? Wolverhampton won the Championship so they will be top flight for the first time since 2003-2004, and Birmingham City bounced back after being relegated after the end of last season.

The last spot goes to the playoff winner. Sheffield United and Preston drew 1-1 today, and I think the other game between Reading and Burnley will be tomorrow. I like Sheffield United and Burnley to win their ties, and I like the Blades to beat Reading 3-2 in the final at Wembley.

Come on, how is that disapointing?

No one would have predicted Liverpool finishing ahead of Chelsea at the start of the season.

hard to understand when your not a red, its the fact its so close, the fact we were top for ages, finishing above cheslea is nothing unless we finnish above the mancs aswell, and that just isnt gonna happen, and i cant see us bettering this seasons performance next season, unless we buy like Sergio Agguerro(spelling) and David Villa

I would have laughed so bad if Liverpool and United slipped up, Chelsea came and nabbed it from behind. How annoyed would you be then?
