The team you used to defeat the Elite Four

charizard

pidgeot
raticate

I always use
Charizard
Moltres (Legendary Pokemon)
Articuno (Legendary Pokemon)
Zapdos (Legendary Pokemon)
Lapras
Dragonite
I always get them up to a level 80+ I train them at one island.
Trust me having the three legendary bird Pokemon. It helps you a lot, and make sure you catch them with an ultra ball, save the master ball for mew(two)
(I don't know which one it is)

The first thing, always take different kinds of pokemons with you. A GOOD ADVICE, never take electric type or grass types with you. If you pick venusaur, then i'll advice that you DO NOT take it. the best team is
Charizard,Rhydon,Lapras,(Articuno, Zapdos or Moltres), Kadabra and Snorlax.Remember, Snorlax is a very strong pokemon and is found in a good level(lvl.30)You can replace Rhydon with Muk. In the legendary birds, I advice Zapdos, because you have a fire type already and Articuno is comparitively weak.You can replace Kadabra with Pidgeot, which I advise you do. Dragonite is hard to train, but if you have the time, it is the best. ALWAYS REMEMBER, never replace Charizard or Lapras. The first league challenger, the ice lady is the most dangerous(I experienced) so you can send out lapras at the end and(Because it is not affective to the attacks) you can cure your fainted pokemon.

Dragonite
Starmie

vaporeon
Pidgeot
Zapdos
Articuno
Moltres

I used charizard lv 100
Articuno lv 100
Magneton lv 100

Lv 61 Vaporeon Lv 61 Charizard Lv 50 Moltres and that's it. Couple full restores tho

Very nice. Simple is sometimes the best way to go.

That's a different team that you don't always see, but it still looks great.

You can use a Action Replay or GameShark. Use a program called PokéSav to create a Mewtwo... PokéSav is discontinued as far as I know so if someone still has it for the older games, they better keep a back up. PokéGen is a new version people use for the most recent Pokémon Diamond and forward.
