I would like to express my opinion on this, so allow me. If a mod were to explain why they deleted a post, there is a chance the one who got the post deleted might still be ,mad at the reason and might spam and/or flame again. The mod would have to then delete the second post as well, and by your suggestion, explain why in another post. This could go on and on and on, and it could bring in others. It would simply appear that the mod was double posting over and over again, which is not the case because they were actually responding to posts. See where I'm going with this? The mod could get in trouble for posting a reason everytime they delete a post. The best thing to do in this case would be to learn what you are allowed to di in a post so you don't have to ask.
